Mt. Rainier: Beautiful Day on the Summit for the Four Day Climb

The Four Day Climb led by RMI Guides Andy Bond and Alan Davis reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. When asked how conditions are on the summit, Andy reported that it was a "beautiful day." The teams began their descent from Mt. Rainier's crater rim around 7:00 AM. They will return to Ashford this afternoon.

The Mt. Baker Easton Glacier team led by RMI Guide Andy Bond reached the summit of Mt. Baker today. Andy reported beautiful weather and a fun route. The team is en route back to camp where they will spend the evening before descending tomorrow. Congratulations Team!

Mt. Rainier: Expedition Skills Seminar Kautz Team Reaches Summit!

RMI Guide Andy Bond and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz team reached to summit of Mt. Rainier today. After two days of Technical Training, the team ascended the Kautz Route learning technical skills they moved up to their high camp on the mountain. Today the team put the skills to work and successfully climbed the challenging Kautz Ice Chute en route to the Summit. The team has started their descent and will spend another night on the mountain before returning to Rainier Basecamp. Congratulations team!

Mt. Rainier: Bond & Team Summit on a Beautiful Day

The July 27 - 30 Four Day Climb reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning led by RMI Guide Andy Bond. Andy reported a beautiful day and a great route. The team enjoyed some time in the summit crater before starting their descent around 6:30 AM PT. Once back at Camp Muir the climbers will repack and continue down to Paradise. Congratulations to today's climbers!

Glacier Peak: Bond and Team Reach Summit!

RMI Guide Andy Bond and team reached the summit of Glacier Peak in the North Cascades this morning! The team said it was a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky! The team will return to camp tonight and make the hike to the trailhead tomorrow. Congratulations climbers!

Mt. Rainier: Bond & Kautz Seminar Reach Summit with Entire Team

RMI Guide Andy Bond and the Expedition Skills Seminar - Kautz July 5 - 10 reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Andy reported great weather and route conditions and the team enjoyed an hour on the summit. They will return to High Camp for additional training and their final night on the mountain. Congratulations to the entire team for reaching the summit!

Mt. Rainier: Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons Team Summits!

The Expedition Skills Seminar - Emmons led by RMI Guide Andy Bond climbed throughout the day yesterday and reached the summit of Mt. Rainier via the Emmons Glacier. Andy and team have spent the week honing their alpine mountaineering techniques including: crevasse rescue, anchors and running belays, route finding, and fixed line travel. It is currently snowing, so the team is breaking down camp and will be descending and making their way off the mountain today. Congratulations team!

The June 10 - 13 Four Day Climb teams led by RMI Guides Andy Bond and Steve Gately reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Andy reported light winds, sunshine and clear skies. The teams began their descent from the crater rim around 7:30 AM. Once back at Camp Muir they will repack and continue down to Paradise. Their program concludes at Rainier BaseCamp this afternoon. Congratulations to today's climbers!

Mt. Rainier: Four Day Summit Climb Breaking Trail

The Four Day Climb June 6 - 9 led by RMI Guides Andy Bond and Chris Ebeling worked hard this morning breaking trail to reach the crater of Mt. Rainier. They topped out just before 8 AM and were greeted with high winds on the summit. The team will return to Camp Muir and continue their descent to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp this afternoon. Nice work team and congratulations!

Bolivia: Frank & Team End Trip Early

The RMI Bolivia team led by RMI Guides Eric Frank and Andy Bond was unable to attempt a climb of Sajama due to several members of the climbing team catching a bug while in La Paz after the climb of Huayna Potosi. The team started out for the mountain but, unfortunately, were forced to return back to La Paz. Due to this the trip ended early.
