Mt. Elbrus: Waterfall & Team Hike to 11,500’
We are in Azau again for the night. Today we took an acclimatization hike up to about 11,500 ft. To gain that much elevation we hopped on a couple of chairlifts and hiked for just under two hours. The weather was perfect all day and we had amazing views of Mt Elbrus and the rest of the Caucasus. Tomorrow we are moving up on the mountain itself and we'll begin our summit preparations.
