Kilimanjaro: Waterfall & Team at Barafu Camp
Hello from High Camp on Kilimanjaro. We are having great weather on this trip so far. We're hoping it keeps holding for a couple more days.
Today was a pretty light day on the trail. We were under three hours moving up from 13,000' to 15,000'. Our plan for the rest of the day is to relax and get ready for the climb. If all goes well we will be near the summit when the sun rises in the morning. Wish us luck!

Jared- the summit is almost yours! I cannot imagine what you & Scott will see & feel once you scale the mountain & are on top! So glad you are with Scott. Bless your hearts! Love you, Mom

Scott & Jared.. You will fulfill your goal to reach the top tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the ‘team’ picture. From your grandparents in Nevada…. [great job Seth]

Glad to hear how well it’s going. Get well rested so you’re all ready for the final push to the summit. Sunrise should be something special to behold from that vantage point. Onward and upward!!! Luv ya Catie! Give Rachael our best as well. Take care.

Good luck to everyone on summit day - especially Dale and Matt Pelletier!

Tracking the team’s progress - give my best to Dale Pelletier and his son, Matt, and tell Dale that if there better not be anything bland about his description when he gets back (he’ll get the joke).
Hike/Climb On.
