Aconcagua: Blais & Team Summit!
January 12, 2015, 1:30 PM PT
This is Zeb Blais checking in from high camp with a jubilant summit team. Today we topped out on Aconcagua at 2 PM in adverse weather conditions. We fought through a small snowstorm to get to the top and spent a brief time taking pictures on the summit before descending back down to camp where we are now hydrating, resting and preparing to head back to base camp tomorrow. Thanks for checking in.

Just phoned RMI and the team is down theountain and will be in Mendosa today or tomorrow! Wow- the trip down is certainly faster than the trip up! Just thought I would post this update for those who are wondering what happened to our team!

Sue,
Ryan says the town of Mendoza? Is famous for the steaks and Malbec wine. Eat some steak and bring the malbec home in your backpack.

GO MOM! ( Adrienne Garrett)Congratulations you crazy lady. I’m so proud to call you my mom and to say that my mother climbed a mountain that’s 22,000 ft. It’s crazy how far you have gone and how much you have accomplished you have worked so hard to make it and you did it. Papa called Sunday and said he was so proud of you. I hope one day to make you that proud. I miss you more than you could imagine and I can’t wait to see you on Monday. I love you, miss you and am proud of you.
Love Payton (your favorite child)
