Go Gordon, go! We’re all cheering for you and following along with regard to this incredible expedition. Keep kicking ass, guys! Look forward to discussing this adventure over some Pacificos, on the beach, during a warm summer day for my birthday party on 7/21. Until then, to reiterate, keep kicking ass and sing the crew the apt “Patience” by GnR. Enough MJ.

Commissioner Gordon:
We have faith you will complete this summit, not just for yourself, but for all lazy-ass Southern Californians who look up to the mountains from their warm beach chair and see not a just a peak, but an apex of achievement. Do us proud.
Stay Strong,
Team HSB

Nelson, Woke up this morning and still cannot believe that you called. What a treat! I passed the potential summit news on to Spencer and Jennifer. We are all keeping our fingers crossed and sending thoughts of nothing but clear skies and low winds. I am so proud of you! Can’t wait to see the photo of the Battery B flag from the top of NA!

John, so happy to hear your voice! How exciting to hear you are pushing for the summit-stay strong as I know you are…the top of North America, I am sure there are no words to describe the magnificence. You are in my thoughts and prayers incessantly. With you every step. Listed my Dad’s house yesterday and this one Monday…things are hectic, but nothing I can’t handle. I find myself asking ” what would John do” all the time :) Looking forward to your big smile next week! Love, Dee

Tim, It was great to hear your voice again! You sound tired, but happy. I am happy your weather window is looking positive for your team’s bid for the Summit. The first day of cherry harvest seemed to go very well. Lots of pickers and these kids are doing so well, as usual. Ismael is FABULOUS! I think his $ should increase. He is so totally capable of managing this orchard and does so many things that make it a smooth ride for my dad. We’ll talk about that when you get home.
We are all well and look forward to pictures and stories. Good luck!
I love you
Deb
