Rosie Hust
Rosie grew up in the lakes of Minnesota. Sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, you name it. If there was a way to spend time on the water, she was doing it. Her passion for frozen water was just as intense. Her parents met teaching skiing so it was inevitable that she would end up in the snow. She began ski racing and that would carry her to mountains across the world. She was always looking past the gates into the surrounding peaks - looking for lines and ways to explore. When her racing career ended, she wasted no time finding new ways to explore the mountains through climbing and backcountry skiing. More recently, ski mountaineering has come to be a priority in her recreational endeavors. In the summers, she is also an aspiring kayaker and rock climber. She is always up for a challenge and a good sunrise dance party. In the winters she is based out of Bozeman, MT and is a Ski Patroller at Big Sky. When she is not playing in the mountains or on the river you can find her reading a good book, covered in flour from baking experiments, or tending her garden.
