Mackenzie Nolde
Mac is from Minnesota where she grew up spending time outside in the north woods of Wisconsin. Her passion for climbing higher began after moving to Montana for college where she studied Microbiology and Environmental Health. During her second year of college, she got a job working as a lift operator at a ski resort where she learned how to ski. Working at a ski resort, Mac found herself a community of friends and mentors. After her graduation, Mac was hired as a ski patroller where she gets to share her passion for being in the mountains with those around her. “I like to help people get outside and feel confident. You feel so present in these moments and create something so memorable.” Mac resides in Montana patrolling in the winter and picking up work as a wildland fire EMT in the fall. In her free time, Mac is often exploring the mountains in her backyard, taking advantage of the trails around her on her mountain bike, and taking the time to relax with reading.
