Mt. Shuksan: Gately & Team Summit Fisher Chimneys

RMI Guide Steve Gately called in from the Summit of Mt. Shuksan. The team reached the summit via the Fisher Chimneys route. The team climb strong and efficiently making it possible climb the summit pyramid in 45 minutes. The weather was clear, but smoke from wildfires did fill the air. The team is on their descent and headed back to their high camp where they will spend the evening, tomorrow they will trek out returning to Glacier, WA. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: Gately & Team Reach Summit!

The Four Day Summit Climb July 20 - 23 led by RMI Guide Steve Gately reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning around 6:30 AM PT. The team radioed from Columbia Crest at 7:10 AM. It's a beautiful day with warm temperatures and clear skies. The team will return to Camp Muir and continue to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them this afternoon at Rainier BaseCamp. Congratulations to today's Summit Climbers!

Mt. Rainier: July 20th Teams on Top!

The Four Day Summit Climb Teams led by RMI Guides Steve Gately and Kel Rossiter reached the summit of Mt. Rainier at 6:30 AM PST. The team climbed above the clouds and were rewarded with clear skies, cool temperatures and winds of 20 mph. The Team is on their descent and en route back to Camp Muir. Congratulations to today's team!

Mt. Rainier: Summit Climb Teams Turn Due to High Winds

Steve reported clear skies, light winds and very cold temperatures with some thunderheads building in the east. The team will spend some time on the summit before heading back to Camp Muir. The Four Day Summit Climb June 4 - 7 reached the crater rim at 7AM PT today. RMI Guide Geoff Schellens reported a nice day with light winds. The team will enjoy the views from the summit for a bit before starting their descent. Once back at Camp Muir the teams will re-pack and continue down to Paradise. Congratulations to today's Summit Climb teams!
