The Five Day Summit Climb June 17 - 21, 2017 led by RMI Guides Andy Bond, Joe Hoch and Nick Scott made their summit attempt today. High winds and firm climbing conditions prevented the team from going above 13,800'. The group has spent the last two nights at Camp Muir, they will return to pack their gear and continue their descent to Paradise.
We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp later today.

RMI Guide Andy Bond led the Five Day Summit Climb Team June 8-12 to the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. It is a beautiful day on the mountain with winds 10-15 mph and cold temperatures. The cloud deck below is at approximately 8,000' so the team enjoyed great views from the summit. After spending two nights at Camp Muir they will return to camp and re-pack gear before continuing their descent to Paradise. We look forward to seeing them at Rainier BaseCamp this afternoon.

The Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Christina Dale reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Christina reported cold temperatures and windy conditions on the summit. The team began their descent to Camp Muir shortly after 8:00 a.m. PDT. The Five Day Summit Climb team will spend one more night at Camp Muir before returning to Ashford tomorrow afternoon.

The Five Day Summit Climb led by RMI Guide Sid Pattison reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning. Sid reported cold, clear and breezy skies on the summit. The team began their descent at 7:30 a.m. We look forward to seeing them in Ashford later this afternoon.

The Five Day Emmons Climb led by RMI Guide Mike King reached the summit of Mt. Rainier this morning via the Emmons Glacier Route. It's a beatiful day with little wind and clear skies. After spending some time on the summit the team started their descent around 6:30 am PT, they will return to high camp for their final night on the mountain.
